Herringbone parquet, often called fishbone flooring, is defined by its distinctive “broken V” pattern. Rectangular planks of identical size are laid end-to-side at a precise 90° angle, creating a continuous zigzag effect that draws the eye along the length of a room. This classic European pattern has been adorning palaces, galleries, and luxury residences for centuries
